    Alexander

Alexander The Great and Genghis Khan are legends. I found out recently that Genghis means great. The two guys that controlled more land than anyone in history get “great” tacked onto their name. Alexander is my favorite by far; he brought knowledge and fairness everywhere he went with an uncontrollable lust for reaching into the unknown. It really bothers me that gay sex carries such a stigma today. I’m straight, but it doesn’t bother me that men can love each other, or women for that matter, it bothers some people, but what I really don’t get is how in a culture of the past where it is accepted that it can bother those same people now. Alexander was a great man, but not respected in some circles because he had feelings for Hephaestion, how ridiculous is that? Here is a guy that completely altered the timeline of history single handedly and isn’t celebrated as much because he was bi sexual? Only an amazing guy could be buried in a golden sarcophagus with glass lid, in honey as a preservative. That’s pretty weird, I hope people go all out for me like that when I go. I would like mine a little more modern with neon lights or something though.
