Even More Poker Friends to Avoid
Have you ever dealt a hand of Holdem to Mr. Emotionally Unhinged? He is the guy who could not bluff to save his life. He screams obscenities whenever he falls one card short of a flush and will punch you in the shoulder if your two pair are higher than his. He has also been known to go all in with an average hand if he thinks it will irritate the rest of the table. He especially loves to take out his anger on Mr. Whiney. That’s the fellow who just is not happy about anything. If you are playing with slate poker chips, he would prefer plastic. Give him a bowl of pretzels and he’ll ask where the peanuts are. He never brings enough money and always complains that the blinds are too big. Also the beer is never quite cold enough. Oblivious to both of these characters is Mr. Over-Wired. He has his Blackberry in one hand while holding his pocket cards with the other. He checks his email between every hand and will occasionally stop the game to download the latest video or mp3 that he needs to show you. Nine times out of ten, you’ve already seen it.
